MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. — The Montgomery County Jail is holding a toy drive that benefits both children and inmates.
According to WKYT, those who bring in a toy will receive increased visitation time.
Normal visits are limited to 15 minutes, but with a toy, the time will increase to 30 minutes.
The jail has been conducting the toy drive for four years, and even some of the jail’s vendors and staff donate.
The collection will continue until Dec. 21, when the toys will be handed out to children at TK’s Gymnastics.
