MANDAN, N.D. — A Bismarck man is accused of biting a corrections officer while being booked into the Morton County jail.
Authorities say 30-year-old David Bad Brave was arrested Thursday on suspicious of driving under the influence and for having a revoked license.
He allegedly threatened to kill Bismarck police officers, unsuccessfully tried to head-butt an officer, punched an officer twice on the shoulder, and bit the wrist of a corrections officer at the Mandan jail.
Bad Brave is charged with assault and preventing arrest. He could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted. Court documents do not list an attorney for him.
