In a recent tip, a P1 member shed light on the importance of carrying a hidden cuff key and offered a clever, unobtrusive location for stashing one.
Here’s another thought! My duty watch is the cheapest they had at Wal-Mart, it has a Velcro band and the Velcro is long enough and wide enough that I can secure a cuff key in it when I put the watch on. I don’t even know a key is there. You can shorten the key by sawing off a portion of the double locking end if the key is too long for your watch band. By finding a way to secure the key in your watch band, it is right next to the cuff if you are ever put in that situation and it’s easy to get to.
