CLEVELAND, Ohio — The man also known as the ‘early morning’ rapist was sentenced to 144 years to life on Wednesday for a series of attacks on women.

Cleveland.com reports that James Daniel III, 33, has a long criminal history that included a three-paged juvenile record along with a series of burglaries, robberies and felonious assaults going back to 2000.

His rapist attacks occurred over Labor Day weekend last year and in 2000.

Judge David Mathia commented that Daniel did not “waste much time between being released from prison and committing another crime” as he handed down the sentence.

“He will not be given the opportunity to do that again,” Mathia said.
