ROCKFORD, Mich. - Wolverine World Wide, Inc.'s Bates Uniform Footwear division partnered with the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) to rush critically needed first responder boots to law enforcement personnel dealing with the Katrina disaster.

FLEOA is a non-profit organization that represents over 24,000 federal agents from over 50 different federal law enforcement agencies. A major part of FLEOA’s mission is to help law enforcement officers in times of need. Mark Heinbach, FLEOA’s North Carolina Chapter President, spearheaded this effort with Bates which resulted in the recent delivery of over 500 pair of boots to officers on the affected ground. These efforts will help assure the safety and effectiveness of our law enforcement personnel as they deal with this unprecedented disaster.”
